KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Tuesday instructed Sindh Police chief AD Khawaja to maintain law and order in the city by keeping crime down to a minimum.
According to details, Murad Ali Shah asked Khawaja to eliminate street crime from the city and also directed him to ensure police patrols the streets of the metropolis.
According to the chief minister’s spokesperson, Murad arrived at the CM House at 9 am sharp. He phoned the Sindh Secretariat and inquired about the attendance of the officials. The CM’s spokesperson also disclosed that Murad Ali Shah consulted his ministers on the WhatsApp group.
On Monday, the newly appointed chief minister had expressed disappointment at the officials of the Sindh Secretariat who had arrived late and had reprimanded them.
