LARKANA: The slaughter house constructed during Benazir Bhutto’s government in Larkana is being used by stray dogs, cats and municipal authorities parked outdated vehicles turning it into a godown. Butchers use city’s main roads to slaughter and sell meat which is causing environmental problems. Millions of rupees spent to construct spacious slaughter house are being wasted. PPP government, municipal authorities and district administration took no step to shift street butchers to slaughter house. Citizens demanded of elected mayor to order immediate occupation of the house to save residents from getting infected.
