KARACHI: The father of slain Intezar Ahmed has on Monday alleged Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Muqadas Haider of being involved in his son’s killing.
Ishtiaq Ahmed, father of the 19-year-old Intezar said that two of SSP Haider’s guards opened fire at his son, while also alleging Madiha Kiyani and Salman, who were accompanying Intezar in his car, of aiding the killing.
“Both Salman and Madihya knew everything beforehand. Salman introduced the girl to Intezar, who took my son to the site of the incident,” said Ishtiaq.
DIG South Azad Khan confirmed that the police has recorded statements of both Salman and Madiha and assured that if any evidence is found against SSP Haider, he would be made part of the investigation.
Intezar was killed after police Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) officials opened fire on his vehicle on January 14.
